SilverStarChemical started its manufacturing business in 2006 with a determination to create new values and become the main agent for changes in the world, and is importing raw materials such as chemical agents (road paints, polyamides and additives) to make semi-finished products and producing polyamide hot-melt adhesives.

Although polyamide hot-melt adhesive, which is the company's main product, has suffered numerous trials and errors due to lack of basic technical skills in South Korea, it has secured the original technology after the dedication and effort of its CEO Jung Chul-kyung and researchers.

This product, which is harmless to the human body and environmentally friendly because it does not use solvents (hazardous components), has a wide range of applications due to its faster adhesives and wider range of adhesives. In addition, it has high water-resistant and glossy properties, and is also said to be economical as it can be glued with a small amount of application. Polyamide is widely used for hot-melting and has excellent hardness and heat resistance, and is used in various manufacturing process-related areas.

The company was selected as the target company for export start-up in 2013, starting with the certification of management innovation SMEs in 2011 and technology innovation SMEs in 2012.

The glue made by the company will export around 70 percent of the products to the United States and China, winning the $3 million export tower award in 2018 and the $5 million export tower this year.

The company is working on research and development to foster competitiveness in the domestic and overseas markets by making the paint or hot-melt adhesive business currently being manufactured more convenient and suitable among customers.

It also plans to produce functional products, such as water-based coating treatment agents and eco-friendly chemical products, using paint.
